Got up early this morning and made a beeline for Ikea. It's crucial I believe to arrive before the store opens. They've got a decent breakfast for $1.99 and good coffee for $.79. Today's photo is a shoe drawer.

happy family
Jojo and I had a rare Sunday off together today. Slowly we made our way out of bed and on down to coffee and breakfast at Quetzal. Back home to resupply and then off to the MOMA. When we returned home freshly inspired by the art we'd seen it didn't take long for us to settle into our own art projects.
This is a sketch I made while Jojo was making her sunprints.
stained glass
this is a piece of stained glass that we picked up from a second hand store or something. it sits in our kitchen window sill and looks pretty. especially when sunlight is streaming through it casting colors on the walls.

see those marks on the wall beneath the walkway? that's a clever little piece. at a glance it looks like the wall is scuffed, but look a bit closer and you'll see that it's art. i have no clue what it's titled or who the artist is.
